Embrace the Chaos — we’re rebranding
Eyedot Creative has evolved a lot over the years. In 2010 we got our start as a single-celled organism called Theogeo Design & Photography. We grew a flagellum and changed our name to Eyedot Creative in 2013 or so, and over the next decade went from making "salty and Southern-fried" cards to making darkly funnny art, stickers, and apparel for the dumb hellscape we're in.
Since then, our real-life hellscape has only heated up in intensity, and we've hit the next stage of our evolution: Splitting into a multicellular organism!
In early 2025, we're changing our name to Chaos Engine and we're launching a new brand: Chaotic Good Trouble!
Chaos Engine makes absurd and unhinged but relatable AF art, greeting cards, apparel, stickers, and more for a world where it seems like reality has truly lost the plot.
Chaotic Good Trouble makes loud and proud social justice-oriented art, merch, downloads, and resources to make it easier for everyday people to advocate for human rights and shape the conversation in their own communities and lives. CGT is a shop for now but I envision collaborating and partnering with other activists and artists on some guerilla-style comms operations and public art projects. (If you are interested in being part of this, let me know!)
The Why: The new name and addition of a standalone leftist agitprop brand will help us more clearly communicate who we are and what we do, so we can keep finding rad people who know 1) joy is a form of resistance 2) the Universe is absolutely drunk and needs to go home before it crashes the car with us inside. FFS.
So what happens to Eyedot Creative? Eyedot Creative is me, so it won’t be going anywhere really. I’ll still be doing creative projects with clients, friends, and fellow co-conspirators, and Eyedot Creative will probably be the umbrella brand for new projects I launch.
